Come join the festivities at the Make a Difference for Pleasanton Festival. Produced by Make A Difference, this special community event is co-sponsored by the City of Pleasanton, the Community of Character Coalition, Pleasanton Unified School District, and ACCUSPLIT Make A Difference Programs. Make A Difference For Pleasanton Programs are designed to build community, health, and wellness in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley. The Make A Difference for Pleasanton Festival is a day to “Get Connected and Stay Connected.” Join in and learn about local volunteering and service opportunities for the community.
On Saturday, January 18th the public is invited to the Make a Difference for Pleasanton Festival, being held from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm at the Pleasanton Senior Center, 5353 Sunol Boulevard, Pleasanton. The festival is free to the public and all are welcome.
Organizations will provide information on ways to volunteer in the community through service programs for adults, families, and teens. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to provide information on their programs and how volunteers can help get involved. This is a great opportunity for students needing to perform community service and others just wishing to “give back” and enrich their own lives and others; especially seniors. Attendees are invited to stroll the aisles and talk with the exhibitors about their organizations and how they are Making A Difference in people's lives.
